With finals over, I am so excited to have the time to make fan art! I've wanted to do a drawing like this ever since I first saw the show. Sweeney Todd is one of my favorite musicals, so I'm very excited for the movie!
I tried to base the characters on my mental images rather than on the new movie, but I did want to draw Johnny's Sweeney. Any other Mrs. Lovett looked pretty weird with him. Patti LuPone's is my favorite.
The characters are (left to right, top to bottom):
Johanna, Judge Turpin, Sweeney Todd, Anthony, Toby, and Mrs. Lovett
